Hip Hop in the Ville #12 Cope Boy
Written by Crystal Walker
Coming hard straight out of South Cashville VineHill projects is our own Cope Boy. If you haven't heard or seen any of his work he describes his work being artistic. Being a recovering addict, Cope Boy music is very real and true to his life. During any performance Cope Boy transfers his energy from his music into the crowd. Which always brings a live hype performance at all times. Starting off in school attending IADT he began to become more hands on with his music. Having already written a song a year before he enrolled into school, Cope Boy took advantage of all the tools his school provided. From mastering in digital audio, engineering, graphic design, etc. Cope Boy knew that was all that was needed to begin his journey in a music career.
Cope Boy would be in the studio and just freestyle, putting all the time he could, to learn the ins and outs of this industry. Learning more and more each day, he knew he could trust in his work and handle any project that may come his way. Which has definitely put him into a position now, to not only just record a album or mixtape. Cope Boy also produces, handles photography, and graphic design. To make it in this business you have to be multi-talented when handling your own work, and to trust that it will be done correctly. Cope Boy is doing just that. He has two mixtapes out now entitled Nothing To Something Vol. I and Nothing To Something Vol. II. When it comes to his fans Cope Boy takes it serious. No arrogance, just pure gratitude. A good way for him to stay connected with his fans. For extra information, or to stay up to date on Cope Boy, follow him at twitter/CopeBoy and at facebook/CopeBoy
