Hip Hop in the Ville #18 Dynasty tha Don

Written by Crystal Walker
Dynasty is most definitely making head waves throughout Nashville. Rapping since the year of 98, Dynasty brings pure talent to the ears of Nashville. Dynasty was a writer since the early stages of childhood since the 1st and 2nd grade. His love for music hit him early in life and that is his inspiration that still carries him to continue strong today. Dynasty remembers his first performance as similar to when he played sports. The butterfly effect and nervousness, but comparing that first performance to now, it’s a cake walk. Today, Dynasty brings his stage performance to a whole other level. Using extra props and devices to make a performance unforgettable is what he does. From beginning in the crowd with the lights out rapping, to smoke detectors, it’s all timed and planned to its best. He studies each past performance and reviews them to see what he could do different or better. So at each and every show you will receive something different each time. He has performed at the HHV Awards, as well as many other venues. His music is down to earth, unique, and live. Remembering the music he grew up on Dynasty feels that, back then music had true meaning. Compared to today’s music, that holds no sense of meaning at all. The music he grew up on had lyrics in songs that would leave you thinking about your situation. Dynasty brings that within his music, it says what he has been through and what’s going on around him. He has many albums and mix tapes in circulation now. In 99 Dynasty’s first album was entitled,” The Game”, then “Feel My Pain”, and after that in 08/09d “No Way Out” dropped. On Sept. 2011 “Its All Me Vol. 1” (IAM) hit the streets.
